This circuit above uses a 13 volt zener diode, D2 which provides the voltage regulation. With an estimated 0.7 Volts on the transistor will be cut off, leaving a higher current 12.3 Volt output. This circuit can supply loads up to 500 mA range. So outputan menggunakkan power supply voltage limiting zener diodes and transistors menggunakkan as a safety.
Without menggunakkan but menggunakkan ic zener diode regulator, at first glance looks like a transistor but different. 7812 to 12 v regulator positive 12v and 7912 to a negative output, do not let one put it.
